The real battle has begun. Tom DeLay just noticed our new film, The Big Buy. We couldn't be more pleased. But Tom, of course, is still up to his old tricks, like not telling the truth, and then asking for more money.
Jim Schermbeck and Mark Birnbaum are no more Hollywood elite than Austin D.A. and DeLay nemesis, Ronnie Earle. We live and work and vote in Texas. We both lost our Congressmen in the gerrymandered House DeLay built using corporate money that's against the law in Texas. Our film shows just how he did it, step by step. No wonder he's worried about it.

Tom is pointing to The Big Buy and telling his constituents that the house parties you folks are organizing across the country to see the film are to raise money for his opponent, Nick Lampson. That's a lie. The grassroots movement that's building now to get the film in front of audiences has nothing to do with Mr. Lampson, or any other candidate for office, except Mr. DeLay. But it does have a lot to say about him, yes sir.
